LINDA ELMER

Linda Elmer received her BA in Art and Journalism Education from Fairmont State College and a MA in Visual Art with an emphasis in painting from West Virginia University. She currently teaches art in a West Virginia public school. Working mainly in two-dimensional formats, her emphasis is in water-based media.

Linda's interests include studies in architecture and light, landscape, and religious symbols as well as non-objective. She has exhibited in 51 shows, 37 of them juried, in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. she has recieved three "best of show" awards. Linda has been juried twice into the West Virginia Juried Exhibition at the Cultural Center in Charleston. Linda is also a signature member of the West Virginia Watercolor Society. Her paintings are also a part of the permanent collections of Bethany College and Shepard College. She is represented by Art by Crim.
